Today’s entrepreneur is much savvier than in the past. Since the early 2000’s, social media has produced smarter buyers, and as a result, we like to know from whom we’re buying.

Branding photos help you become more successful by gaining trust.

The know, like and trust factors are very important in today’s marketplace because people buy from whom they like. Therefore showing your face online makes it incredibly important to becoming successful.

Mobile device cameras have really come a long way, but it’s nice to have a professional take your photos for you (and not every picture should be a selfie). With San Diego’s consistent and nearly perfect weather, it’s conducive to scheduling a personal branding photoshoot. The beauty of it, is that you’ll have TONS of content in a few hour shoot which will last you for many months. And much of it will be evergreen content which will always be relevant.

Here are a few ways that my clients use their personal branding photos…

LinkedIn Bio: This is such an easy way to look polished and professional within your business network. Spiff up that LinkedIn profile pic and do a little job description cleanup. You never know when your next big opportunity will land on your lap!

Email Signature: Websites like Canva make it super easy to create a really cool email signature and you can easily drop in a great image to have that professional look.

Website: This is one of the biggest benefits to personal branding photography. Whether you are managing your own website or you have a web designer doing it, having high-quality photographs makes everyone’s job easier!

Social media: Clients (and potential clients) want to see YOU showing up in their feed and stories. Having content at your fingertips, makes it seamless to distribute fresh material.

Email campaign: There are many great and free email campaign companies out there. This is a great way to add a few photos in your email newsletter which helps your readers connect with you on a deeper, more intimate level.

Opt Ins: Having a good photo attached to a freebie or opt in can instantly grab the attention of whomever is visiting your website and help make it a huge success!

Publications: Perhaps you’re being featured in something and don’t want to use the provided photographer. It’s much easier having treasured photos on-hand for submission for a future publication!

Speaker Bio: Bios are great to have available because they tell your audience about yourself. Having your photo attached makes the group feel warmed up to you, prior to your actual presentation.

At the end of the day, the best part of having photos taken by a professional is that it frees up time for you to do what you do best!
