While Pinterest Strategist Tabitha from tabithafrost.com and I were planning her branding session in North Park, San Diego, there were so many fun and colorful places that came to mind. Here are the most Pinterest worthy spots in North Park that are great for personal branding photoshoots or snapping a photo for Instagram.

The Inspiration Behind Finding Pinterest Worthy Spots in North Park San Diego

During our branding shot list discovery session, it was clear that Tabitha’s personality was very bright and I knew North Park was the perfect place for her branding photoshoot. As a Pinterest strategist, her colors are all about pink, green, plants and colorful patterns. When we looked at the Instagram page for Holy Matcha, that became our photoshoot inspiration! With the Covid-19 pandemic and many business closures, we really had to think outside the box and work with what we had. Thankfully, North Park is the perfect place for even the most spontaneous photoshoots.

First stop, Communal Coffee

Communal Coffee has two great locations - North Park and South Park. We visited the North Park location which is right next door to the North Park Nursery. Both spots are great for personal branding photos. Their coffee + flowers wall is super cool!

Next up, Louisiana Exchange

This was a place we stumbled upon on accident while walking around the neighborhood. Their outdoor patio is a great place for photos. There is plenty of shade, greenery, industrial tables and a black wall. This perfectly suited her olive green blazer, white dress and black combat boots. Louisiana Exchange was a great find!

You, Me, Matcha

Holy Matcha is such a fun place! With pink walls and plants, this place was calling her name. And if you haven’t tried matcha, they have some really unique and colorful matcha drinks that are equally Pinterest worthy.

Lunch at Pretzels & Pints

Also known as California Tap Room, this was a great spot for a lunch break and beer. Tabitha really wanted a photo with her “mama needs a beer” tank top and this place had a great outdoor patio area for enjoying lunch and taking some photos.

Shop at Pigment

This trendy store is our new favorite. We didn’t take any photos here because of Covid mask restrictions, and we were too busy shopping! Items purchased that day were: a pink and green plant in a cute pink vase as well as a Spice Girls mug, adorable pads of paper and a silly Schitt$ Creek hand sanitizer gift. They have an awesome succulent wall and plenty of fun gifts.

All is Love

Our last stop was at Pachamama which has an infamous colorful mural that says “All is Love”. They have a great outdoor patio with cute pillows and plenty of greenery. When indoor dining is open again, they have some beautiful couches and plants throughout. I do plan to come back here again.

With many indoor and outdoor options, there is something for everyone in North Park.
